Who We Are

Creative Adoptions, Inc. is a private non-profit (501)(c)(3), licensed child placing agency that was founded in July, 1990, with offices in Maryland, USA; Kingston, Jamaica; and Moscow, Russia. C.A.I. is also registered in the State of New York under section 371(10)(c) of the New York State Social Services Law. We have also been federally accredited in the Russian Federation on an annual basis since the accreditation process began in 2000/2001 (See Russia Accreditation Certificate). We also continue to be federally approved by The Peoples Republic of China (See recent Letter of Appraisal).

What We Do

C.A.I. is a full service agency specializing in international adoptions from Asia, The Caribbean and Eastern Europe. In addition to Homestudy and post-placement supervision services available to our Maryland clients, C.A.I. offers to all clients throughout the United States and, in special instances overseas, complete guidance and assistance throughout the entire international adoption process. Services include ongoing pre- and post-placement consultations, adoptive parenting education and training, assistance with compilation of formal adoption dossiers, US immigration assistance, translation services, and full child placing service the birth country of the child.

What We Believe

C.A.I believes that children should be raised by their birth families and/or in their birth countries whenever that is possible. However, when it is not possible, C.A.I believes that every child has the right to be parented in a loving and caring "forever" family.
