Who We Are
Creative Adoptions, Inc. (CAI) is a private non-profit (501)(c)(3), licensed child placing agency that is Hague Accredited by the Council on Accreditation. C.A.I. and was founded in July, 1990, with offices in Maryland, USA and Kingston, Jamaica. C.A.I. is also registered in the State of New York under section 371(10)(c) of the New York State Social Services Law.
The staff at Creative Adoptions, Inc. are experienced, professional, responsive and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing top quality services in the best interest of the children all around the world.
What We Do
C.A.I. is a full service primary adoption service provider (ASP) specializing in international adoption placements from The Caribbean, as well as in the provision of Homestudy and Post-placement/Post-adoption services to Maryland residents who are adopting either domestically or internationally from anywhere in the world. C.A.I. offers to all clients residing throughout the United States and, in special instances overseas, complete guidance and assistance throughout the entire international adoption process. C.A.I. also assists families with adoptive parenting education and training, compilation of formal adoption dossiers, and US immigration and Consular processing. In addition, we provide Procedural Consultation Services as the primary adoption service provider to families who are doing parent-initiated adoptions from certain countries.
What We Believe
C.A.I. believes that children should be raised by their birth families and/or in their birth countries whenever that is possible. However, when it is not possible, C.A.I. believes that every child has the right to be parented in a loving and caring “forever” family.
